Riggs Distler has been awarded a scrubber systems contract for a major east coast steel mill. This contract requires the installation of ductwork overtop the active basic oxygen furnaces while they are in full operation, which has never been performed before in the history of the mill. In addition to the ductwork on fans the project requires the installation of 4 new scrubber systems. The work is currently in progress 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and is expected to have a 180 day duration.
