April 2005 Son of Dave Eader, Riggs Distler safety supervisor, will be serving in Iraq, beginning March 15th, with the 5th CAG Group (5th Civil Affair Group). Aaron has been with the Marine Reserves 4th Combat Engineers Battalion from Towson, MD for 9 years and was activated in October, 2004. Sgt. Eader is the Motor Transportation Chief for the 5th CAG Headquarters and will be dispatching and supporting troops working with the civilian population of Iraq. While not on active duty, he resides in Annapolis with his wife, Brooke, and daughters, Cameron and Dylan. May 2005 June 2005 Sgt. Eader is doing well. As Motor Transportation Chief Officer, he and the Marines of the Headquarters Detachment have been working hard at running convoys, planning operations and many of the other functions the detachment accomplishes. The 5th CAG has reached the half way point of their tour in Iraq and is continuing with their mission working with the civilian population. This work includes delivering mass medicine and other supplies to a hospital in Ramadi, Iraq; to stuffing backpacks for school children which were handed out in Saqiawiyah, as well as facilitating improvements in public works.
